Session Description: The National Science Foundation's Graduate Teaching Fellows in Education (GK-12) program, housed in NSF's Division of Graduate Education, provides grants of up to $3 million for 5-year projects in which graduate student fellows and faculty advisors share science content and activities with K-12 students and teachers.  Faculty and graduate students involved with GK-12 projects at Purdue University, Texas A&M University, and the University of Tennessee will describe their projects and provide tips to faculty who are planning or considering NSF GK-12 proposals.   We invite other faculty and graduate students with GK-12 experience to join the audience and also contribute perspectives and tips.
