Session Description: This topic is broadly defined to include paleoenvironmental studies employing a wide variety of geomorphic, geochemical, botanical, and archaeological approaches. Points of emphasis will include data recovery, dating, local and regional correlation, and interpretation of stratigraphic sequences in relation to humanized environments. We envision several topical sessions and a final discussant session to review common themes presented by the participants.
