Session Description: The field of human-animal studies has been steadily growing as an interdisciplinary field for over a decade, yet courses in "Animal Geography" are still relatively new.  This session will be a roundtable discussion about the challenges and opportunities associated with bringing Animal Geography into the classroom.  Panelists will share lessons, insights, and pedagogies about their experiences with developing/implementing Animal Geography courses.  We aim to achieve representation among panelists from a wide range of classroom settings including the liberal arts, university undergraduate, and graduate programs.
